TalentedLuchtaine's Experience i love cubase and i have been using it for more than 14 years but i really dont like the direction that steinberg cubase is taking.this daw is getting overdone with so many unnecessary buttons and features that is just making cubase a CPU consuming software, creating problems for creation flowing (due how much cpu horsepower is needed to work).i have a dedicated computer just for cubase and it is a 3000 euro machine and now i figure that i just cant use the same amount of tracks and plugins that i was used to work, on cubase 7.5, without lagging and performance overloads, bad decisions made by these 'new age' guys that are taking cubase on this direction.even the trademark transport UI was changed for something that looks pretty stuid, i deeply regret upgrading for cubase 10, by the way i cant use my windows classic theme( it is the best due the fact that uses less OS resources) and with cubase 10 im forced to use windows aero themes.who in the world had this stupd idea? yeah c10 has some nice new features but the amount of bad changes is actually overwhelming, i think they are making cubase nowadays for DJВґs and musicians that work with loops and not real musicians with full bands.

That was a misunderstanding, Reaper can become whatever You want and require it to be. Out of the box, FLS seemed cleaner, prettier and more modern - reflecting the much higher price.
